Def Leppard has released a new video behind their single "Rejoice." The band shares the making of their latest song through a message stating, "Step inside the making of our new single Rejoice as the guys take you behind-the-scenes into the writing process and preparing to play the track live at The Las Vegas Residency." The video provides insight into Def Leppard's creative process and how they came up with the song.

Lead singer Joe Elliott explains, "This song's been an amazing journey from concept to conclusion." He shares that he had a lyric idea where the narrator is at rock bottom and wants to rise up to a higher level, which guitarists Phil Collen matched with his musical piece.

Collen adds, "I sent it to Joe and it was like magic – he sang straight over the top of it.

And that's how the song was formed." The band worked with Ronan McHugh on drum loops and describes the process as "hard rock for us...

It's kind of magical." Fans can expect a brand new electrifying show at Def Leppard's Las Vegas residency, where they will perform classics from their timeless catalog alongside their latest single.

The residency runs through February 28 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
