DEF LEPPARD has released an official video for their cover of DEPECHE MODE's classic hit “Personal Jesus,” filmed during the band's recent Las Vegas residency.

The professionally shot footage showcases DEF LEPPARD performing the song at Caesars Palace, with pyrotechnics and a grand stage setup creating a memorable atmosphere.

This latest video release follows the band's return to Las Vegas for their "Def Leppard Live At Caesars Palace: The Las Vegas Residency" shows earlier this year.

The 12-show run marked DEF LEPPARD's first time performing at the iconic venue, which boasts a capacity of over 4,300 seats.

Their original recording of “Personal Jesus” was released in 2018 as part of Spotify's "Spotify Singles" series.

In a recent interview with Riff X, DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott spoke about the band's latest single, “Rejoice,” which was released ahead of their Las Vegas residency and features a drum loop and guitar work that pays homage to classic rock.

When discussing the lyrical inspiration behind “Rejoice,” Elliott stated: “The title kind of sums it up, really.

I wanted to write a really uplifting, positive-message song, revealing that DEF LEPPARD's upcoming album will be centered around themes of hope and positivity.

Their current single, “Rejoice,” marks the band's first taste of their new material ahead of the release of their next studio album, which is set for an early 2027 drop.

With their recording process being inspired by COVID-19 lockdowns, DEF LEPPARD has found a new method of collaboration that brings together individual parts and recordings from across different locations worldwide.
