Desmond Child has released his latest album, Desmond Child Rocks The Parthenon – The Live Concert Album, available now via BMG.

The recording took place at the Odeon Of Herodes Atticus in Athens, Greece, in June 2022, beneath the Acropolis and overlooking the Parthenon.

The historic event celebrated Child’s legacy as a legendary songwriter, featuring a star-studded lineup of international artists.

Performers include Alice Cooper, Bonnie Tyler, Rita Wilson, The Rasmus, Kip Winger, Sakis Rouvas, Chris Willis, Andreas Carlsson, Justin Benlolo, Tabitha Fair, Leo Dante, and George Lembesis.

The concert highlighted the preservation of ancient Greek cultural landmarks while honoring Child’s extensive songwriting catalogue.

The album includes live renditions of iconic tracks such as 'Livin’ On A Prayer,' 'You Give Love A Bad Name,' 'I Was Made For Lovin’ You,' and 'Livin’ La Vida Loca,' with multiple featured performances by guest artists.

The release follows Child’s 2023 memoir, Livin’ On A Prayer: Big Songs Big Life, co-written with David Ritz.

The event was part of a broader celebration of music history and cultural heritage, with the concert serving as a tribute to the enduring impact of Child’s songwriting on global music.
