Kentucky hybrid Devil's Cut has released their debut album, Roadkill, which combines country imagery with metalcore sound.
The album is set to drop April 24 via MNRK Heavy.
The band's first single, "Drink With The Devil," is available now on all digital platforms, accompanied by a video for the song.
The album showcases Devil's Cut's nuanced blend of country and metal genres, which began with a conversation between frontman Trey Landrum and their manager Cody Ash in 2018.
Their sound has rapidly evolved since then, with commercial momentum gathering through touring with various bands and performing at major music festivals.
"We grew up on Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks, but we love Metallica and Pantera," says Landrum.
"We're metal with hints of country, but we're doing it differently; fucking with it and making it our own." Roadkill is produced by Evan McKeever and features heavy riffs topped by infectious country-twang vocals.
The album includes 10 tracks and will be accompanied by videos for each song.
Devil's Cut's tour schedule includes dates in support of their new album, including a run with kindred spirits Alborn.
