Singer and vocal coach Elizabeth Zharoff has shared a video analysis of the album with her audience, The Charismatic Voice.

The album "The Moth", released May 29 via InsideOutMusic, marks the culmination of Devin Townsend's life's work after over a decade in development.

Townsend explains that the project began as an idea after being approached by the head of the North Netherlands' Orchestra and Choir with an offer to collaborate.

The album is comprised of three distinct parts: The Moth – The Afterlife showcases the grandeur of the orchestra & choir, while The Moth – The War records the live musical debut in March 2025 in The Netherlands.

Formats for "The Moth" include Ltd Deluxe 3CD+Blu-ray Artbook and a Limited Gatefold Triple-Gatefold 180g 2LP & Fold-Out LP-booklet.

The album will also be available on various other formats, including digital platforms.
