The Canadian prog-metal icon has released a new track from his ambient album Seeker – Ban Khao Tao, shared exclusively with fans via his Patreon channel.

The album was recorded during Devin Townsend’s travels across Southeast Asia. Reflecting on the experience, he commented: “Never been in a place that was in such unique harmony with itself.” Townsend has also teased a new studio album slated for 2026.

Beyond new music, Townsend continues to share exclusive Patreon content, including his conceptual sci-fi series The Ruby Quaker Show and studio performance video clips. The platform allows him to connect directly with fans, free from algorithms or ads.

Patreon offers four membership tiers—DevHead, Stormbender, Physicist, and PlanetSmasher—all providing the same core access.

Townsend has also announced an indefinite break from touring, following his most ambitious live concert to date in March 2025.
