In a recent interview with Australia's Heavy, DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara spoke about the possibility of new music from the band.
When asked if fans could expect to hear some fresh material following the release of their 2023 album 'Dealing With Demons Vol.
II', Fafara replied, "I'm not gonna say.
[Laughs] I can't say.
What I can say is you guys [in Australia] will definitely be getting something on stage that no one's got.",After discussing DevilDriver's musical output, Fafara noted that the band has consistently produced strong material and stated that they try to make every album sound different.
He also mentioned his favorite artist James Brown and how DevilDriver draws inspiration from him.
The band released their 2023 album 'Dealing With Demons Vol.
II' in May with production and engineering handled by Steve Evetts and additional engineering provided by then-DEVILDRIVER guitarist Mike Spreitzer.
Following Spreitzer's departure from the band in September 2024, he was replaced by ENTERPRISE EARTH guitarist Gabe Mangold.
Fafara has remained a consistent presence within DevilDriver following the departures of all original members except for himself.
