The wait for a new Dimmu Borgir record appears to be ending this week.

Dimmu Borgir shared a mysterious teaser on Instagram for what is assumed to be new music coming March 26.

The new album is produced by Fredrik Nordström (At the Gates, Arch Enemy).

In a recent interview on the Iblis Manifestations podcast, guitarist Silenoz discussed the long road to completing the album.

Dimmu Borgir's last full-length, Eonian, was released in 2018.

Silenoz revealed that the band spent their time well on crafting new songs and praised Nuclear Blast for not interfering with their creativity.

The band plans a proper headline tour in Europe next year but notes that touring the U.S.

would be challenging due to costs.

Dimmu Borgir will also play some shows in New York, Chicago, and Canada before embarking on a full US tour.
