DIRTY HONEY singer Marc LaBelle spoke about the band's plans to record new music as a follow-up to their 2023 album "Can't Find The Brakes".
LaBelle stated that the band is currently writing and recording material for the next LP.
They have been working on new songs since finishing their tour with THE STRUTS on October 4th, and hope to have the record finished before heading down to Brazil in April.
In a recent interview, LaBelle discussed the lyrical inspiration for DIRTY HONEY's new material, saying that he is drawing from current events.
He also mentioned that the band plans to continue evolving musically and production-wise with their next album.
LaBelle stated that they are currently picking a producer for the project, with hopes to have everything figured out in the studio by the end of the month.
DIRTY HONEY made music industry history in 2019 when their debut single "When I'm Gone" reached No.
1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock and Hard Rock charts.
The band has been on a roll ever since, selling out their first two U.S.
headline tours and receiving rave reviews for their performances opening for THE BLACK CROWES.
They have also released several successful albums and singles, including their debut album which entered the Current Hard Rock Album chart at No.
2 despite having no major label affiliation or support.
DIRTY HONEY recently issued a live-in-concert, double-vinyl CD and digital release titled "Mayhem And Revelry Live", recorded throughout North America and Europe on their 2023-24 world tour.
The album features the band's performances of several fan-favorite tracks, including "When I'm Gone".
The song was originally released in 2019 and has since become a classic rock anthem, featured in various films and TV shows including an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" where DIRTY HONEY performed the track in April 2025.
