In a new Instagram Live, DISTURBED guitarist Dan Donegan spoke about the band's plans for the coming months.

He revealed that DISTURBED will play two shows this year: July 17th at the Inkcarceration festival in Mansfield, Ohio, where they will headline on Friday night alongside a massive lineup featuring LIMP BIZKIT and BAD OMENS.

They will also perform on July 25th at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

This past May, DISTURBED frontman David Draiman hinted that fans will be "pleasantly surprised" by the material the band has written for their follow-up to 2022's "Divisive" album.

Back in April 2025, Dan said that the band had recorded a bunch of material in the fall of 2024, enough for an album, and it was great and they were excited about it.

However, they decided not to announce a release date yet due to ongoing touring plans.

They released their first single via their own label, Mother Culture Records, "I Will Not Break", which marked a new musical direction for the band.

Donegan discussed the song's creation, saying that it came late in the recording process and was inspired by old-school DISTURBED riffs from the late '90s.

He also mentioned working with producer Drew Fulk on the track, who previously worked with the band on their 2022 album "Divisive".

The single debuted at No.

13 on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week of release and sold over 26,000 units."
