Down Set to Release New Album Volume V in November

Metal supergroup Down has announced the release of their new album, Volume V, scheduled for November 20 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album marks the band's first full-length studio release since Down III: Over The Under in 2007. The new record includes tracks such as "Blood Oath," "The Myth," "Merciful Fate" featuring King Diamond, "Turn Out the Light," "The Message," "Causeway Grief," "They Walk The Night," "They Came From Dust," "Ozz," and "Twice-Told Tales." Down will also embark on a live tour in August, September, and October, supporting the album release. The tour includes dates with Helmet and Spirit In The Room. August dates feature performances at House Of Blues in Cleveland, Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, History in Toronto, MTelus in Montreal, The Palladium in Worcester, and The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, with stops at Berzerkus Fest. Additional dates include Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh and The Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring. September includes shows at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, Ramova Theatre in Chicago, and Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, with a special appearance by Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, and Hatebreed. October features a performance at Aftershock in Sacramento and Sick New World Texas in Fort Worth. A December date at Decibel Metal And Beer Fest in Denver will take place without Helmet or Spirit In The Room.
