DROWNING POOL's seven-date South American tour has been canceled, citing low ticket sales across all cities on the itinerary.

The tour was scheduled to kick off on May 20 in Bogota, Colombia and run through a May 31 show in Curitiba, Brazil.

Stops included Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Belo Horizonte, Brazil; and São Paulo, Brazil.

DROWNING POOL had expressed enthusiasm for the tour, stating "We're super stoked to be playing in South America for the first time!" when the tour was first announced in early March.

The band has released three new singles over the past year and a half: "The Wrong One", "Madness", and "Revolution (The Final Amen)".

DROWNING POOL's debut album, "Sinner", was certified platinum within six weeks of its release in 2001.
