Singer-songwriter Don Henley spoke to CBS Sunday Morning about the Eagles' decades-long career, highlighting the emotional moment he saw Glenn Frey's son Deacon perform in his father's place.

He emphasized the importance of connecting with fans and noted that music is medicine, something people need right now.

The Eagles will perform their final show at the Las Vegas Sphere on Saturday, March 28, marking the end of the road for the band.

When asked about potential future performances, Henley replied, "March will be the end of it, and again, that's fine." He added, "We're gonna film this [Sphere show], I think we already did as a matter of fact, and so there'll be that.

It's not exactly like the real experience, but it's close." Henley also touched on the band's age, stating, "You know, three of us are 78 years old now, including yours truly.

I have what they call 'drummer's back,' every drummer I know has a back problem, it just happens." The interview is available to watch in full below or at cbsnews.com.

The Eagles have announced additional final shows for February and March, including Friday, March 20; Saturday, March 21; Friday, March 27; and Saturday, March 28.
