Norwegian Viking metal pioneers EINHERJER have announced a new partnership with respected label By Norse Music.

The band's tenth studio album is set to release this summer via their new collaborators.

In a statement, founder Frode Glesnes expressed pride in joining the By Norse roster, citing the label's alignment with EINHERJER's values of heritage and artistic integrity.

By Norse A&R Sonja Schuringa welcomed the band, praising their unique sound which captures intensity, atmosphere, and artistic depth.

Formed in 1993 on Norway's western shores, EINHERJER rose to prominence as part of Norwegian extreme metal's distinctly Norse expression.

Their early recordings helped establish Viking metal, a genre born from their identity, history, and cultural memory.

The band continues to draw inspiration from their homeland and the cultural richness that surrounds them.

With a rich discography including classic albums like "Dragons Of The North" and "Odin Owns Ye All", EINHERJER has continually evolved without losing its core sound.

Their music stands as proof that its spirit endures, unbound by the past yet grounded in heritage.

The band consists of Frode Glesnes on vocals, guitar, and bass, Gerhard Storesund on drums and keys, Ole Sønstabø on lead guitar, and Tom Enge handling guitar and clean vocals.
