Massachusetts heavy psychedelic rock outfit Elder has confirmed their sophomore album Through Zero, set for release on May 29.

The follow-up to their critically acclaimed Innate Passage (2022) promises a sonic journey that blends towering riffs and immersive atmospheres with influences reaching far beyond traditional rock.

Vocalist Nick DiSalvo explains the concept behind the record's title: "Through Zero describes the property of a frequency being able to pass through the zero point and continue into the negative." The album explores life, death, hope, fear, and the gray areas in between through six tracks that stretch the boundaries of progressive psychedelia.

Ahead of the release, Elder will embark on a tour, starting with summer European festival dates including Download Festival, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Brutal Assault Festival.

US shows are scheduled for the fall, details available now.
