ELLEFSON-SOTO, the project featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and acclaimed metal vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, performed their live debut on Thursday, April 9 at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California.

The setlist included songs from their 2022 album "Vacation In The Underworld" and their latest release "Unbreakable", as well as cover songs paying tribute to Elvis Presley and FEAR.

ELLEFSON-SOTO will also play aboard the Monsters Of Rock cruise, sailing April 12–17.

Following their live debut, Ellefson-Soto will be performing at this year's Monsters Of Rock cruise.

The band released two albums so far through Rat Pak Records: "Vacation In The Underworld" (2022) and "Unbreakable" (2025).

In an interview with Screamer magazine in 2025, David Ellefson discussed how his collaboration with Jeff Scott Soto came about.

He stated that it started with a song called 'Writing On The Wall', which was intended for a second ELLEFSON solo album.

Regarding their musical chemistry, Ellefson said: "I've known [Jeff] a long time, and I've always loved his energy." Their upcoming live shows are expected to feature songs from their latest release.

The band will also be performing at the Monsters Of Rock cruise, sailing April 12–17.
