Swedish female-fronted melodic rock band Emotional Fire have released their new single, “Neon Glow,” taken from their debut album Rising, due out January 23 via RN Records.
The track features a duet with veteran hard rock vocalist Robin McAuley, best known for his work with McAuley Schenker Group.
The song was written by Ulrick Lönnqvist, Pete Alpenborg, and Rick Altzi, with additional rhythm guitars and keyboards performed by Alpenborg. McAuley’s vocal parts were recorded by Andy Zuckerman at The Institute of Noise in Los Angeles.
Rising was produced by Linnea WaljestĂĄl, mixed and mastered by multi-platinum producer Thomas Plec Johansson (Nestor, The Night Flight Orchestra), and executive produced by Ron and Nina Dahlgren. Album artwork was created by Markus Vesper Art.
Emotional Fire is the brainchild of Ron Dahlgren and Nina Dahlgren, who are also behind the project Gathering of Kings.

Emotional Fire features Thérés Enström (lead vocals), Linnea Waljestål (drums, backing vocals), Daniel Myhr (keyboards, backing vocals), Pär Eriksson (guitars, backing vocals), and Oliver Lee (bass, backing vocals).
