Canadian metal veterans Entropy have reformed with a new lineup and are ready to unleash their signature sound once again.
After a year-long hiatus, guitarist Danny Lauzon has reunited the band with vocalist Mike Rochford (ex–Ashes Of Eden), bassist David Gagne (Blackguard, ex–Your Last Wish), and drummer Blake Lemieux.
The reunion follows the retirement of original vocalist Ger Schreinert, who stepped away from music in July 2022.
Lauzon has spent the past year rebuilding and reenergizing Entropy’s sound, blending crushing riffs with the band’s trademark eclectic edge.
“After a flood wiped out my studio, I lost a damn year and took that time to dream up a powerhouse for the band,” Lauzon said. “After Ger retired, it was flat-out weird to think Entropy without him, but he gave me his blessing and told me to bring it hard. New blood, new life.”
Entropy’s new lineup will make its live debut at Piranha Pit Fest III in Montreal on May 2, joining a stacked lineup of Canadian metal heavyweights for what promises to be a standout night.
