Former SKID ROW singer Erik Grönwall has released his debut solo album, 'Bad Bones', on May 22.

The full-length record, composed entirely of original material, marks Grönwall's first project as a solo artist and is described as his most honest and authentic work to date.

The album draws on his experiences with SKID ROW, H.E.A.T, and his time touring with guitar legend Michael Schenker.

It features tracks including 'Bad Bones', 'Praying For A Miracle', and 'Hell & Back'.

The music video for 'Hell & Back' was directed by René Uvaldes and released alongside the album.

'Bad Bones' captures the spirit of classic hard rock with modern energy, emphasizing emotional depth and raw authenticity.

The album's first singles gained strong support from major rock radio stations including Bandit Rock in Sweden, Planet Rock in the U.K., and Star FM in Germany.

Grönwall, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March 2021, received a bone marrow transplant and has since been cancer-free.

He joined SKID ROW in early 2022 and departed the band in 2024, citing a need for more time to recover from his illness.

SKID ROW members expressed pride in their collaboration with Grönwall and wished him well.

Grönwall confirmed he was open to continuing with the band if a touring schedule could be agreed upon, proposing a model of three weeks on tour followed by one month off.

The English version of Grönwall's autobiography, 'Power – Music, Death, Life', was released in December 2024 via HarperCollins.

The album has already prompted sold-out hometown shows at Cirkus in Stockholm and is set to appear at multiple festivals across Scandinavia and Europe.

Grönwall continues to perform live and remains active in the rock scene, having previously sung on two Michael Schenker albums and performed in NBC's 2018 broadcast of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'."
