In a new interview with Sylvia Alvarado of the Las Vegas radio station KOMP 92.3, EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee spoke about the band's upcoming album, "Sanctury", due on June 5.

The LP features tracks produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish as well as songs produced by Nick Raskulinecz.

A double vinyl of the album will be released on September 4.

Speaking about the songwriting and recording process for "Sanctuary", Amy said, "It's been a journey.

We've been working on this music for a while, and worked a lot harder last year than anticipated.

So it's been this just kind of, like, 'Keep going, keep going, keep going.

Come on.' For the love of it, just for the absolute need of music.", Music is my sanctuary," Amy explained.

"In touring the world and in playing these shows, we see that it is that for everyone.

So being able to create a place where we can come together, human beings, and find each other and express ourselves freely, it's just such a beautiful thing.

Going to concerts, of course, but the creation of new music has always really felt like my true home in my job.", Lee added: "It's hard to begin to comment on the state of the world creatively.

I feel like it's my job as an artist to take all that in and reflect back some truth and hopefully some kind of a call to action, a light at the end of the tunnel and hope.

I really am still, at the end of it all, goth and black as I am, an optimist.

I believe in us.

I think that we just have to shine a light.", The band's most recent tracks "Fight Like A Girl" (featuring K.Flay) and "Afterlife" have been met with praise from fans and critics alike.

EVANESCENCE is no stranger to success, with the band's 2003 record "Fallen" holding steady as the sixth best-selling album of the 21st century.

The band has now partnered with PLUS1 so that $1/£1/€1 from every ticket sold will support organizations providing humanitarian aid and medical relief to those in need around the world.

EVANESCENCE recently announced a 2026 world tour, kicking off on June 11, taking them across North America and Europe.

Special guests SPIRITBOX and NOVA TWINS will open on the North American portion of the tour, and special guest Poppy will support on the Europe shows, with K.Flay opening the U.K.

shows.
