EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee has finally confirmed the release date of her band's highly anticipated album, 'Sanctuary', which is set to drop on June 5.

The LP, produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish alongside Nick Raskulinecz, marks EVANESCENCE's fourth studio album and features tracks that have been three years in the making.

In a new interview with Abe Kanan of Audacy Music, Amy Lee discussed how much time she has spent working on 'Sanctuary', stating: "I'd say three years solid.

We've been touring a lot, but we had a lot of little trips in between — like while we're somewhere, go rent a place for the days in between the shows.

And people come to me and we work together.

Or we had some amazing creation sessions with Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish here in L.A." The album's musical and lyrical inspiration stems from Amy Lee's feelings about the state of the world, which fueled her creativity during its writing process.

She expressed: "I felt very fueled by the state of the world creatively.

I feel like I have a ton to get off my chest.

This music is a sanctuary for me." 'Who Will You Follow', EVANESCENCE's new single released earlier this month, was also discussed in Amy Lee's interview.

She said about the track: "This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it." As a part of their upcoming tour schedule, EVANESCENCE has announced a 2026 world tour that kicks off on June 11.

The tour will take them across North America and Europe with various supporting acts including SPIRITBOX, NOVA TWINS, Poppy, K.Flay, and more.

EVANESCENCE continues to be committed to social causes.

They have partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will support organizations providing humanitarian aid and medical relief to those in need around the world.
