Swedish progressive metal band Evergrey has released a new single and unveiled details of their upcoming album, Architects Of A New Weave.

The album will be released on June 5 via Napalm Records.

The new single is called 'Leaving The Emptiness' and comes with an official music video that visually represents the song's signature character.

Englund has commented on the track saying: “Our new single is a high-energy firecracker that makes you want to jump—we know, because we just played it in Brazil twice and people were more in the air than on the ground." He also discusses the album's lead vocalist duties being shared with fellow Gothenburg icon Mikael Stanne on track 'A Burning Flame'.

The album will be available in various formats including 2LP Gatefold Deluxe Edition, 2CD Digipack 24p and Digital Album Deluxe.

Additionally, Evergrey will be special guests to Iron Maiden on their “Run For Your Lives” World Tour for two shows.
