Belgian metal band Evil Invaders has announced their fourth studio album, Weaponized Chaos, set for release on February 19 via Napalm Records. The album marks the band's first full-length release since 2022's Shattering Reflection and showcases a matured sound with diverse musical elements.
Produced by Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Weaponized Chaos blends high-speed thrash with melodic heavy metal, featuring tracks that range from aggressive riff-driven numbers to emotionally driven, atmospheric pieces. The title track combines rapid-fire riffing with technical guitar solos by Max Mayhem, while "Dreamstate" explores modern life’s pressures through dense guitar work and shifting vocals by Joe Van Audenhove. The track "The Wait" serves as a melodic tribute to former guitarist Sam Lemmens, who passed away in 2024, and "Forever By My Side" reflects on personal loss with a haunting arrangement.
The album begins with the instrumental "The Final Dawn" and concludes with "Lucid Dreaming", a song originally written by Lemmens in 2014. The tracklist includes "Bloodstains", "Drenched In Disdain", and "Fear", which address themes of social isolation and misinformation. The release will be available in multiple formats, including limited edition vinyl pressings, a tape edition, and digital formats.
In addition to the album, Evil Invaders has confirmed a 2027 tour with the Triple Thrash Alliance, featuring Heathen and Exhorder, and a UK leg with Heathen. Dates span from February 25 to March 27, with stops across Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Hungary, and France. The tour highlights the band's live energy, emphasizing the contrast between speed and melody that defines both the new album and their stage performance.
