Southern California thrash metal band EvilDead has confirmed two upcoming performances in Los Angeles and Santa Ana, followed by a historic Asian tour in October. The band will play at 1720 in Los Angeles on Friday, August 28, alongside Whiplash, Fueled By Fire, High Command, and guests. The following night, Saturday, August 29, EvilDead and Whiplash will perform at The Observatory / Constellation Room in Santa Ana, California. Tickets are available through the respective event links.

Sandy K. Vasquez, known for his work with Bloodlust and Ruthless, will join EvilDead on bass for the remainder of 2026. Longtime bassist Karlos Medina has requested a personal leave of absence, a decision the band fully supports. The band confirms Vasquez as a key addition to the lineup.

Following the Southern California shows, EvilDead will embark on a major Asian tour beginning October 23 in Shanghai, China, continuing with dates in Tianjin, Tokyo, and Taipei. The tour will span China, Japan, and Taiwan, marking a significant expansion of the band's international presence.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1986, EvilDead has released albums including Annihilation Of Civilization and The Underworld. The band's 2020 album United States Of Anarchy and 2024 release Toxic Grace were issued through Steamhammer Records, continuing their aggressive thrash metal sound.
