With a name as vast and unknowable as its musical vision, Eximperituserqethhzebibšiptugakkathšulweliarzaxułum is now streaming its most ambitious release to date, Meritoriousness of Equanimity. Mercifully, the band can also be shortened to Eximperitus—because no one is pronouncing the full version correctly.

Shaped by recent years of upheaval, Meritoriousness of Equanimity fuses the band’s established extremity with elements drawn from beyond the genre. Across nine independent compositions, the album explores a central theme: the search for inner support amid turbulence, as entrenched social dogmas are exposed and dismantled “on the ruins of the old world.”

The record also addresses long-standing questions surrounding Eximperitus, starting with its infamously unpronounceable name. Its correct pronunciation is finally revealed on the opening title track: ekz-impéritus-serqét-zebíb-shiptú-gakkáth-shul-wéliar-záksulum. Helpful.

Beyond phonetics, the album delves into the name’s deeper meaning—described as the inexpressible, unknowable beginning of the dark Absolute and the eternal path toward its essence—mirroring the album’s inward, metaphysical scope.

Meritoriousness of Equanimity also solidifies the project’s current creative core, featuring vocalist and lyricist Paweł Nalecki (ex-Ominous Scriptures), instrumentalist Siarhei Liakh (Relics of Humanity, ex-Ominous Scriptures), and session drummer Davide “Brutal Dave” Billia (Beheaded, Antropofagus).

Pre-orders for Meritoriousness of Equanimity are available on Bandcamp.
