Influential LA trio Failure has announced their seventh studio album, Location Lost, due out this Friday, April 24 via Failure Records/Arduous Records/Virgin Music Group.
The album features the latest single "The Rising Skyline (feat.
Hayley Williams)", a largely acoustic breakup song featuring Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams.
Andrews notes that FAILURE doesn't do many collaborations, but his friendship with Hayley turned this song into a satisfying duet.
Location Lost boasts nine new tracks showcasing Failure's unique sound.
The album doesn't arrive as a victory lap or nostalgia exercise, instead sounding like a band actively negotiating its identity.
Failure has also announced an extensive fall tour kicking off September 30 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The band will play festival appearances at Las Vegas's Sick New World, Chicago's Space Echo @ Radius and Daytona Beach's Welcome To Rockville, among others.
Their run of shows includes supporting acts ALL UNDER HEAVEN on spring headline dates starting May 3, and QUANNNIC on all fall headline shows.
