According to reports from Loudwire, several people who purchased the figure posted photos of the Trujillo figurine inside a box featuring images and texts about Jimmy Valmer, a character from South Park.

This unexpected twist has fans discussing what might have caused the mix-up.

The incident occurred despite Metallica's recent assurance that their new Funko POP! Rocks: 72 Seasons Figure Set would come in its original packaging.

However, when fans opened their boxes, they found themselves holding figurines of Robert Trujillo and his bandmates inside a window display box featuring images and texts about Jimmy Valmer.

Metallica has confirmed on their official website that the product is available for sale again as preorders after selling out initially.
