After years in the making, Finnish blackened death metal outfit Karelian Warcry have released their first single from their third album, titled 'Veripellot'.

The crushing single, 'Mielen Rutto', is now available via Inverse Records.

Originating from Kouvola, Finland in 2002, the band's music has evolved over time to incorporate various metal subgenres and other musical influences.

With themes exploring war, violence, and humanity's darker aspects, each member contributes their unique touch to create a signature sound characterized by melodic bleakness, heavy grooves, and driving rhythms paired with violent storytelling and poetic expression.

Following the passing of vocalist-guitarist Matti Mikkonen in 2014, the band went on hiatus but continued creating music both remotely and at their rehearsal space.

Now, over a decade later, Karelian Warcry has finally completed 'Veripellot', their most cohesive and brutal work to date.
