A J Channer, former vocalist of Fire From The Gods, has been charged with child endangerment in Tennessee, as revealed by arrest records from December 21st, 2025.

Additionally, a previous assault charge on a pregnant person from 2024 has resurfaced.

Channer admitted to these charges and explained the circumstances on social media last night (January 10th).

He maintained that the charges are related to his recovery process and past substance use, which endangers children according to hair analysis.

Fire From The Gods announced Channer's departure in March of 2025 and replaced him with Myke Terry from Volumes.

Channer's partner, Brittan Taylor, confirmed the split on Facebook at the time.
