Heavy metal visionaries Fleshgod Apocalypse have announced a series of headline dates in North America as part of their ongoing touring schedule.

The band, known for their symphonic-infused death metal sound, will kick off their spring headlining tour on April 16 in Sacramento, CA and run through May 20 in Hampton Beach, NH.

Alongside Frozen Soul, they will be supporting Avatar on their massive North American headline run, which kicks off on April 16 and runs through May 20.

The tour includes stops at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Weekend.

The band's vocalist, Johannes Eckerström, offered some insight into their decision to return to the States: "USA. It started off innocently enough. Hiking along on a trail. Sunny. Pleasant. Safe. Then night came, and the trail slowly faded." He added, "We will be seeing you." Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday at 10 AM local time.
