NIGHTWISH singer Floor Jansen has unleashed the official lyric video for her new solo single, 'Run'.

The track is part of her upcoming debut album, which arrived in March 2023 and showcased her impressive vocal range.

In a statement, Floor comments: 'To me, 'Run' is about no longer making yourself smaller to fit into a shape that was never yours.' The song marks the beginning of something new for Jansen, who has been cancer-free since undergoing surgery in November 2022.

She welcomed her second child with SABATON drummer Hannes Van Dahl in October 2023.

Born in the Netherlands, Jansen rose to prominence as the lead singer of NIGHTWISH and previously led the symphonic metal band AFTER FOREVER.

Her first solo tour sold out within 24 hours in 2019.
