The Foo Fighters have added another new song to their growing catalog with the release of 'Caught In The Echo', the third single in advance of their upcoming album, "Your Favorite Toy".

Due out April 24 via Roswell Records/RCA Records, the album follows the turbulent wake of the album's postpone-tinged title track.

A harnessing of the band's live fury pervades the record, as evidenced by the instantly combustible opener 'Caught In The Echo'.

From its opening exhortation to its closing plea, the song foreshadows the new album's rough hewn energy with arguably the band's most explosive opener since "Wasting Light"'s "Bridge Burning".

The Foo Fighters' massive "Take Cover" world tour has also been announced in support of the album.

The 40-date trek kicks off August 4 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto and runs through September 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with Queens of the Stone Age serving as direct support on all dates except September 12 in Fargo.

The Foo Fighters first concert with new drummer Ilan Rubin took place on September 13 at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California, marking their first official performance with Rubin after his hiring earlier this year.

The band's announcement of a surprise show was accompanied by a statement from Grohl introducing Rubin as "the most badass motherfucker, Ilan Rubin, is playing drums in the Foo Fighters right now.

It's official.

You can stamp the passport." The tour and album announcements come after the Foo Fighters confirmed their first stadium tour since 2023-2024's massive run, which sold out football and baseball fields worldwide.

The band has been off the road since September last year.

With Rubin behind the kit, the Foo Fighters have set their sights on returning to their maximum volume euphoria with their surprise U.S.

club gigs and overseas outdoor/arena spectaculars this summer.
