Bay Area thrashers Forbidden have announced the cancellation of their scheduled European tour dates in June.

In a message to fans, the band revealed that they will be focusing on finalizing plans for their forthcoming debut album through BLKIIBLK and Frontiers Music, which they recently signed a worldwide deal with.

This marks their first new material in 16 years, and Forbidden expressed excitement about being label mates with Megadeth and Biohazard.

The band has been performing at festivals like Wacken Open Air, with professionally-filmed video of their recent set available to view.
