Bay Area thrash veterans Forbidden, NYC hardcore pioneers Cro-Mags, Portland's gothic metal band Unto Others, and Cleveland's extreme metal outfit Nunslaughter have all signed to BLKIIBLK Records, the new metal label under Frontiers Label Group.

The signing is part of a brash expansion by Frontiers, which has already released tentpole signings like Biohazard and Megadeth's self-titled final album.

Mike Gitter, a long-running A&R man and record executive, will lead BLKIIBLK as its Global Head of A&R, having previously worked with artists such as Lorna Shore, Killswitch Engage, and Ice-T's Body Count.

Gitter expressed his excitement about the joining, stating that BLKIIBLK aims to establish itself as a force on the heavy and extreme music spectrum.

Forbidden, Cro-Mags, Unto Others, and Nunslaughter are just the beginning, with Gitter expecting surprises at every turn.

Frontiers Label Group was founded in Naples, Italy in 1998 by Serafino Perugino and has since evolved into a global label group shaping careers, revitalizing legends, and building new creative platforms across rock, alternative, and metal.

With the addition of BLKIIBLK, Frontiers is moving to decidedly heavier ground.
