Seattle-based thrash metal band FORCED ENTRY has confirmed a return performance for September 19 at Blades Of Steel Metalfest at Crucible in Madison, Wisconsin. The event will feature a lineup of Seattle metal legends including METAL CHURCH, SANCTUARY, CRIMSON GLORY, RAVEN, and ARTILLERY.
The reformed band consists of original vocalist and bassist Tony Benjamins, drummer Colin Mattson, and guitarist Steve Campbell. Formed in the late 1980s, FORCED ENTRY was a key figure in the Seattle thrash scene, known for their aggressive riffs, complex song structures, and technical musicianship.
The 35th anniversary reissue of their 1991 album "As Above, So Below" is set for release, featuring expanded layouts by Marc Lopes, a new interview with Tony Benjamins, additional photos, and original flyers. The original album was produced by Tom Soares and engineered by Jamie Locke, with artwork by Sean Wyett. It included official music videos for the tracks "Macrocosm, Microcosm" and "Never A Know, But The No".
FORCED ENTRY released two albums — "Uncertain Future" in 1989 and "As Above, So Below" in 1991 — through Combat Records and toured with bands such as SACRED REICH, CORONER, ATROPHY, and OBITUARY.
