Former BATTLE BEAST frontwoman Noora Louhimo has emerged victorious as the winner of Finland's popular singing competition "Tähdet, Tähdet" ("Stars, Stars") for its 2026 edition.

The show features nine well-known Finnish artists competing for the title of "Tähtien Tähti", or the Star Among Stars.

In the final episode of "Tähdet, Tähdet," Noora faced off against fellow contestant Venla Edelmann, with Louhimo delivering a powerful rendition of Celine Dion's iconic hit "My Heart Will Go On." Earlier in the season, she had already impressed viewers and judges alike with her takes on AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance." This win marks a significant achievement for Louhimo, who rose to prominence as BATTLE BEAST's vocalist.

In December of last year, Louhimo revealed that she had been struggling with eating disorders since childhood and was still working to find a balance.

She also disclosed her recent diagnosis of a ruptured left carotid artery, which forced the postponement of BATTLE BEAST's tour.

BATTLE BEAST released its seventh studio album, "Steelbound," in October 2025 via Nuclear Blast.

Louhimo's departure from BATTLE BEAST was announced after their summer shows wrapped up.

She emphasized her desire to focus on her solo career and pursue various musical projects without being tied down to a single band schedule.
