The Black Crowes have been nominated for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame for a second consecutive year.

Steve Gorman, the band's former drummer and author of their memoir "Hard to Handle: The Life And Death Of The Black Crowes", has commented on the nomination, stating that he was surprised by it last year but not disappointed if they didn't get in.

When asked about Rich Robinson and Chris Robinson's current tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album 'Shake Your Money Maker', Gorman said that he doesn't fault them for wanting to keep The Black Crowes brand alive, although he notes that it has nothing to do with him.

The band is being considered for induction alongside other iconic acts, including those who have had a significant influence on The Black Crowes' sound.

This nomination marks the second time the band has been recognized in this way, following their initial induction consideration last year.
