Kiss bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has expressed frustration with performers publicly voicing their opinions, urging them to focus on their art rather than politics.

In an interview with TMZ, Simmons stated, “Everybody in the world should listen to what actors and comedians say, because they're so qualified.\u2023 He went on to criticize celebrity activism, saying, “People in America work hard for their living and they don't wanna be lectured to by people who live in mansions and drive Rolls-Royces.\u2023 This sentiment is not surprising given Simmons' business-oriented approach to the entertainment industry.
