A woman in her 40s has been charged with harassment after allegedly sending repeated messages and letters to GHOST frontman Tobias Forge between July and October last year.

The fan, who claims she and Forge first met 16 years ago, continued contacting him through different means after being blocked.

Forge, who formed the band in Sweden in 2006, later handed over a phone that was sent to him, which he described as "intrusive" and "threatening".

He denies knowing the woman or having any connection with her.

The fan reportedly faces additional charges involving other individuals.
