GHOST has been honored with a Swedish Grammis award in the 'Best Hard Rock/Metal' category for their critically acclaimed album, 'Skeletá'.

The award was presented to the band's mastermind Tobias Forge by singer Joey Tempest of EUROPE at an ceremony held on April 29 at Annexet in Stockholm.

In his acceptance speech, Forge expressed gratitude towards everyone involved in the making of the album and joked about its enduring popularity.

GHOST had been nominated for six Grammis awards, including 'Artist Of The Year' and 'Album Of The Year', with their songwriting team also up for separate awards as producers, songwriters and lyricists.

This marks GHOST's fifth win in this category, having previously taken home the award four times for their albums 'Infestissumam', 'Meliora', the 'Popestar' EP, and 'Impera'.

The band had a highly successful year with their album 'Skeletá' topping the Billboard 200 chart with over 86,000 units sold in its first week.

This achievement made history as it was the first hard rock album to reach No.

1 since AC/DC's 'Power Up' in 2020 and marked GHOST's ninth Billboard 200-charted effort.

The band will continue touring in support of their album with their European leg kicking off on April 15, followed by a North American tour launching on July 9.
