German heavy metal band GRAVE DIGGER has announced the release of a new studio album, "Faces Of Pain", on January 15, 2027, via Reaper Entertainment. The album continues the band's signature old-school heavy metal sound, building on the energetic and uncompromising style established in their 45th-anniversary release "Bone Collector". It features tracks such as "Faces Of Pain", "Satan's Tango", "The Number", "Legends Never Die", "When The World Is Calling You", "Dead Sun", and "Say Hello To The Devil", showcasing a diverse range of tempos and moods while maintaining the band's core identity.
The album was produced by frontman Chris Boltendahl at Graveyard Studios in Senden, Germany, with guitar work by Tobias Kersting. The cover artwork was created by Uwe Jarling. The new release follows a consistent creative partnership between Boltendahl and Kersting, emphasizing a mature yet explosive late-career sound rooted in classic heavy metal traditions.
GRAVE DIGGER will promote the album with the "Legends Never Die Tour" beginning January 14, 2027. The tour includes headline performances with supporting acts MOTORJESUS and WARWOLF. Dates span from Siegburg to Leipzig, with stops in Germany and one in Pratteln, Switzerland. The tour concludes in February 2027 with shows in Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, and Bochum.
The tour marks a continuation of GRAVE DIGGER's long-standing presence in the heavy metal scene, reaffirming their status as a defining force in German heavy metal.
