In an interview with Guitar World, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash confirmed that the band is still working on the follow-up to their 2008 album 'Chinese Democracy'.

The project, unofficially dubbed as 'Chinese Democracy II', features a wealth of material, requiring the bandmembers to sort through and select suitable tracks.

Slash emphasized that Guns N' Roses operate unpredictably, with new music arising spontaneously rather than adhering to a set timeline.

The band released two outtakes from 'Chinese Democracy' - 'Absurd' and 'Hard Skool' - in 2021, hinting at more to come.

A potential new song was rehearsed during soundchecks in 2022, although its release remains pending.
