UK progressive metal band HAKEN has released a brand new song titled "Bleeding Sky".

This is the second single from the band this year, following "In A Fever Dream" in May.

The song was co-produced and mixed by George Lever (LOATHE, SLEEP TOKEN) and features some of the most emotionally direct material of HAKEN's career so far.

Bassist Adam "Nolly" Getgood (PERIPHERY) joins HAKEN on this track.

A visualizer for "Bleeding Sky", created by Oliver Kember, is available to watch below.

The song follows the recently released video for "In A Fever Dream".

HAKEN has also announced a European headline tour for September and October 2026.

This past January, the band parted ways with guitarist Charlie Griffiths and bassist Conner Green, who were originally recruited as replacements after the departures of guitarist Daniele Prestipino in 2015 and bassist Thomas MacLean in 2014.

Their exits from HAKEN were announced via social media post.

HAKEN canceled its UK tour dates last October supporting U.S.

progressive rockers COHEED AND CAMBRIA due to circumstances unrelated to Griffiths or Green's departures.

Griffiths had been a member of HAKEN since 2008 and appeared on all of the band's albums so far.

He released his debut solo LP, "Tiktaalika", in 2022.

Green joined HAKEN in 2014 as the replacement for Thomas MacLean.

HAKEN spent 2024 celebrating its most recent acclaimed studio album, 2023's "Fauna", as part of an "An Evening With" run throughout the world.

The band performed "Fauna" in full on one night and returned to the stage to play a selection of their best-loved cuts from their catalog.

HAKEN's performance at London's legendary O2 Forum was documented and made available as "Liveforms: An Evening With Haken".
