HASTE THE DAY, the metalcore band known for their high-energy sound and thought-provoking lyrics, has announced their long-awaited return with a new album titled "Dissenter", set to release on May 1 through Solid State Records.

This marks their first full-length release since 2015.

The album's lead single is "Shallows", accompanied by a visualizer video.

In an interview, the band described "Shallows" as capturing the essence of their signature style, blending aggressive riffs and heavy breakdowns with melodic elements.

Lyrically, the song confronts disillusionment, corruption, and the cost of defiance.

The album tracklist includes 11 new songs: "Cycles", "Shallows", "Grave", "Burn", "Liminal", "Gnasher", "Heretic", "Escape", "Adrift", "Teeth", and "Oblivion".

This latest effort from HASTE THE DAY sees the band refining their sound, sharpening their melodies and amplifying their scope with cinematic ambition.

HASTE THE DAY initially emerged at the turn of the century and has since maintained its integrity.

Following their early releases, including "Burning Bridges" (2004) and "When Everything Falls" (2005), Stephen Keech made his formal debut as the group's frontman on "Pressure The Hinges" (2007).

The band went on to release several fan favorite albums, including "Dreamer" (2008), "Attack Of The Wolf King" (2010) and "Coward" (2015).

Their reunion gig at Furnace Fest in 2023 was met with overwhelming enthusiasm.

The band's current lineup includes Stephen Keech on vocals, Scott Whelan, Dave Krysl, and Brennan Chaulk on guitar, Giuseppe Capolupo on drums, and Michael Murphy on bass.
