Metalcore band HASTE THE DAY has announced their new album, Dissenter, due out May 1 via Solid State Records.
This marks their first full-length release in eleven years since 2015's Coward.
Dissenter will be the seventh LP from the Indiana-bred group, known for their melodic yet aggressive sound.
The album announcement comes on the heels of their reunion show at Furnace Fest last year and recent video releases for songs "Burn" and "Liminal".
The latter features a guest vocal from Garrett Russell of SILENT PLANET.
In a statement about the song, HASTE THE DAY explains: 'Liminal' expands on the melodic, aggressive metalcore foundation of the record while leaning into the punk and hardcore influences that shaped our early sound...
Lyrically, 'Liminal' explores the tension of being stuck between two truths, caught in a space where movement feels impossible.' Dissenter will be their first album since 2015's Coward.
That release earned them a second straight Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and second Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums chart.
The band has undergone some lineup changes over the years but remains intact with Stephen Keech on vocals, Scott Whelan and Dave Krysl on guitars, Giuseppe Capolupo on drums, Michael Murphy on bass, and Brennan Chaulk joining as their newest guitarist.
HASTE THE DAY's music often conjures memories of their early days, particularly since emerging at the turn of the century.
Their discography includes fan favorites such as 'Dreamer' (2008), Attack Of The Wolf King (2010) and Coward (2015).
They have toured with a diverse group of bands including HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD to NORMA JEAN.
The tracklist for Dissenter is as follows: 01.
