HEATHEN Releases Obscure Cover, Announces New Music

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans HEATHEN have released a new single called 'Twist Of Faith', which is actually an obscure cover of a song originally recorded by PSYCHOSIS in 1992.

The track features HEATHEN members Kragen Lum and Jason Mirza, and comes with a statement from the band commenting on their recent signing to Napalm Records.

'Let's keep things rolling with new music for 2026!', the band comments.

'Twist Of Faith' is another early 1990s-era song that we gave the HEATHEN treatment.' The song will appear on a forthcoming 12-inch maxi single along with an album of new material, for which there are currently 15 songs in various stages of production.

HEATHEN emerged from the San Francisco scene in 1984 and have been credited as one of the leaders of the Bay Area thrash metal scene of the mid-to-late 1980s.

The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, but still features David White on vocals and Kragen Lum on guitar.

To date, HEATHEN has released four studio albums: 'Breaking the Silence' (1987), 'Victims Of Deception' (1991),'The Evolution Of Chaos' (2009) and 'Empire Of The Blind' (2020).

Their latest album hit Top 40 in charts in Germany, Hungary as well as charting elsewhere around the globe.
