Heavy Metal Veterans Celebrate Album Anniversaries

Today marks significant anniversaries for several influential heavy metal albums.

Ted Kirkpatrick of Tourniquet celebrates his 66th birthday, while Daniel Erlandsson of Arch Enemy turns 50.

Graham Woodcock of The Quest and Kenneth Hickey of Type O Negative also mark their birthdays, as well as Chris Boshis of Phear and the band Queens with their album The Miracle.

Other notable bands celebrating anniversaries include Arch Enemy's guitarist Daniel John Erlandsson turning 50 alongside vocalist Jeff Platt who turns 61 as does drummer Graham Woodcock of Seventh Void Kenneth Shaun Hickey also celebrates his birthday while Dan Siegel bassist for Oz celebrates his birthday.

Additionally, Iron Maiden's long-awaited reunion album with Bruce Dickinson (Brave New World) was released one week before Blaze released their debut album Silicon Messiah on May 22nd, 2000.

Neaera's Omnicide – Creation Unleashed is also celebrating its release alongside UNANIMATED's In The Light Of Darkness (The Covenant O Death).

Furthermore, Sinister is celebrating the release of their album Deformation of the Holy Realm alongside Soen's vocalist Joel Ekelroth celebrating his birthday.
