Canadian hard rock veterans Helix have dropped a music video for the track “Tie Me Down”, featured on their new full-length album Scrap Metal.
The album is now available via Perris Records, offering five unreleased tracks that retain the classic '80s Helix sound.
Remaining tracks are a collection of classic Helix songs from previous releases such as Old School.
Lead vocalist Brian Vollmer shares the story behind Scrap Metal: “This video is but a small taste of the rich life we’ve led together up until this point.” The album was produced by Aaron Murray and Helix bassist Daryl Gray, who also worked on their 2020 release Old School.
Sean Kelly, who has collaborated with Vollmer on several albums, was heavily involved in the recording process.
Former Helix guitarists Kaleb Duck and Brent “The Doctor” Doerner made appearances on a few tracks.
Scrap Metal features songs that showcase Helix’s iconic '80s rock roots, maintaining their legendary status.
The album is now available on various platforms for purchase, including Perris Records, Amazon US pre-order, WOWHD worldwide Free Shipping, and more.
Fans can also stream the band’s music on popular streaming services.
