Canadian hard rock veterans Helix have shared a lyric video for their new single 'Fast & Furious', the title track of their upcoming full-length album, 'Scrap Metal'.
The record is set to be released on January 23 via Perris Records.
The album features five previously unreleased tracks that hark back to Helix's classic '80s sound, along with five remastered classics from previous releases.
In an interview, frontman Brian Vollmer discusses the production process of 'Scrap Metal', which he describes as starting as an afterthought and evolving into a full-fledged album.
The record was produced by Aaron Murray and Helix bassist Daryl Gray, who have both worked on previous Helix projects.
Highlights from the album include 'Stuck In The 80s', 'Fast & Furious', 'Pretty Poison', and 'Danger Zone'.
Fans can pre-order 'Scrap Metal' via Perris Records, Amazon US, WOWHD worldwide, Worldwide CD Stores, Germany, Japan, UK, Spain, Brazil, and other retailers.
