Hellripper, Scotland's blackened thrash outfit, has announced their upcoming studio album Coronach, set to release worldwide on March 27 via Century Media Records.

The band's fourth full-length will be their debut with the label.

To celebrate this milestone, Hellripper is sharing a new single, "Hunderprest," accompanied by a high-energy performance video filmed at Damnation Festival 2025.

The song draws influence from thrash (Kreator, Merciless, Metallica) and black metal (Watain, Rotting Christ, Tribulation), with atmospheric d-beat elements reminiscent of Oathbreaker and Fall of Efrafa.

According to guitarist/vocalist James McBain, Coronach is a deeply personal exploration of Scottish culture, delving into the country's music, literature, history, and folklore.

The album will encompass various influences, from Venom and Mercyful Fate to Watain and Opeth, as well as traditional Scottish music.

Hellripper has announced a European headliner with Schizophrenia and Sarcator in support, kicking off shortly after the album's release.

The full tour itinerary can be found on Hellripper's website.

Coronach will be available in various vinyl formats, each featuring unique artwork.
